Sturm, Ruger & Co., makers of the new SR1911 pistol and Gunsite Scout Rifle, announced its “Million Gun Challenge” to benefit NRA in May 2011. Ruger pledges to donate $1 million to NRA if one million new Ruger firearms are sold between the 2011 and 2012 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits.
