Remington Wins Two Big Law Enforcement Contracts
Remington Arms Co. has secured major law enforcement contracts with the West Virginia State Police and the Los Angeles Police Dept.

Remington Arms Co. has secured two major law enforcement contracts. A statewide term contract to supply the West Virginia State Police with Remington Model 870 Police shotguns was awarded to Remington Law Enforcement Sales. The shotguns, which are specially built to the West Virginia State Police specifications, are based on the law enforcement tested and proven Model 870 pump action platform and are available to Law Enforcement Agencies across the state. The department took delivery of its first contract order in August. Additionally, the Los Angeles, Calif., Police Department again chose the Remington Model 87 Police Magnum and Model 870 Police Marine Magnums as their department issued shotguns.
