Remington Recalls LE Buckshot

Remington has issued a recall of certain lots of its Law Enforcement Reduced Recoil buckshot ammunition.

Remington has issued a product safety recall of its Law Enforcement Reduced Recoil 8 pellet 00 buckshot loads because of possible improper propellant charges.

Consumers find ammuntion lot numbers stenciled on the outside of cases or stamped on the inside lid of boxes. If you have any of the affected ammunition, contact Remington at (800) 243-9700, prompt No. 3.

If you are unsure if you have one of these Lots or if you have mixed boxes of ammunition, please immediately discontinue use and contact Remington.

I was just wondering if Remmington buys its powder from a vendor or if they make their own. I just saw another bullet maker is.doing the same thing and it just made me wonder if an anti gunner did something to the powder to both companies.
