Sturm, Ruger & Company has introduced polymer magazines for its Gunsite Scout Rifle. Made from glass-filled nylon, these rugged magazines are available in three-, five and 10-round capacities.

"Consumers have made many requests for lower cost Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle magazines," said Mark Gurney, Ruger's long gun product manager. "These new Ruger magazines are durable, easy to load, feed smoothly, and are less than half the price of original equipment steel magazines. The three-round magazine is near flush-fitting and is a great accessory to have when hunting with the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle rifle.”

Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle polymer magazines can be disassembled and assembled for cleaning. All components are molded from glass-filled nylon (except the stainless steel spring), and the assembled magazines have been function and drop tested at extreme temperatures ranging from negative 30 degrees F to 140 degrees F.

Each magazine also comes with a snap-on dust cover that allows long-term storage without risk of deforming magazine feed lips. For more information or purchase a polymer Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle magazine, go to ShopRuger.com.
