Powered by three AAA batteries, Pelican’s 2720 LED Headlight is fully adjustable for brightness, from an 80-lumen high output mode to a low, five-lumen setting. Runtimes are eight hours and 175 hours, respectively.
Power is toggled on or off using either the manual push button or the touch-free Gesture Activation sensor. The 2720 is 2.48 inches in length, weighs 3.8 ounces—with batteries—and has three modes: Mode 1, white LED; Mode 2, red LEDs; and Mode 3, SOS flashing.
Additionally, the unit has a pivoting head for directional beam and a 1-4X magnification switch that tightens the beam from floodlight to spotlight. Included with the unit are both an elastic and a rubber headband. The Pelican 2720 LED Headlight retails for $50 and has a lifetime guarantee.
