McMillan USA has expanded its tactical line with the M3A rifle. The M3A has an 18-inch barrel and uses a six-groove rifling with 1:10 right hand twist. The action is Springfield M1A chambered in 7.62 NATO (.308 Win). The stock is designed to shoot with a scope as well as iron sights.

Looks to me like McMillan has come up with the rifle the U S Army was looking for to replace the M14 back during the VietNam altercation. Chamber it for the .250-3000 and who need the M16 with all its teething problems!
