Designed for close-range applications, such as hunting with a muzzleloader or shotgun in dense cover—or even atop an AR-15—the compact Leupold VX-I 1-4X 20 mm scope has parallax preset for 75 yards and a Heavy Duplex reticle.
The scope has a 1-inch-diameter tube, 9.2-inch overall length and 9-ounce weight. It offers 3.8 (4X) to 4.3 inches (1X) of eye relief, and field of view at 100 yards is 28.5 feet at 4X—75 feet at 1X.
The VX-I 1-4X 20 mm, available only in matte black, offers 67-m.o.a. worth of elevation and windage adjustments that are achieved by way of micro-friction dials marked in 1/4-m.o.a. increments.
