LaserLyte, maker of the Side Mount laser, Rear Sight laser and Revolver Bayonet, has introduced the LaserLyte Subcompact V3 laser, a light and versatile laser sighting unit designed to fit on even the smallest of Picatinny rails.

The V3 Laser requires less than 3/4 of an inch of Picatinny rail space to be mounted, especially helpful for small pistols and revolvers, but can be mounted on any rail surface, even full-length rifles. The V3 features one activation switch on each side of the unit for left- and right-handed shooters, as well as windage adjustment and programmable "constant-on" or "pulse" modes.

The laser is powered by four 377 batteries that provide 5 hours of life in "constant-on" mode and 10 hours in "pulse" mode and features a range of 500 yards at night. MSRP is $99.99

I mounted mine on a KEL-TAC PF-9. The laser's initial point of aim was far left and up. I attempted to adjust the point of aim using the supplied allen wrentches, but the point of aim would not move, not sure if the adjustment screws were stripped or if the alignment mechanism would not work. Sent customer complaint to LaserLyte. Awaiting response. At this point, I would not recommend this product.
