Bushmaster announced today that it would be adding a .308 Win.-chambered carbine to its Optics Ready Carbine (ORC) line of AR-type rifles. The Bushmaster 308 ORC is so named because it comes with riser blocks that can be mounted to the rifle's Picatinny rail, giving the clearance necessary to mount an optic.

The Bushmaster 308 ORC also features heavy oval handguards, a 16-inch chrome-lined barrel and an A2 style flash hider.
