2/24/2011 BOGgear tripod-style shooting rests now come in a series specifically designed for tactical shooters. Both tall and short versions of the TAC-3 tripod feature lever-style locks with rubber guards and leg markings for quick, quiet and precise height adjustments. Both models come with a 360-degree, swiveling, rubber-covered Universal Shooting Rest yoke, low-glare finish on top tubes and carry bags. The short model spreads nearly flat on the ground for prone shooting. The separately available Xtreme Shooting Rest provides two rubber-covered, adjustable yokes mounted on an aluminum platform to which a non-AR-style rifle can be secured with included hook-and-loop straps.
