Walther Arms has introduced the PPS M2 personal-protection pistol chambered in 9 mm. The pistol’s one-inch width and smooth features provide a slim profile for the newest concealed-carry gun in the PPS line.

The PPS M2 comes equipped with a 6.1 lb. trigger pull and a new push-button style magazine release. The PPS M2 is also available in an LE edition with phosphoric sights.

Walther Arms CEO Adam Blalock said he has been extremely excited about the PPS M2 since the beginning of its development, as the PPS Classic has been his everyday carry gun for years. “It’s a great gun and the idea of improving on the original was challenging, but our team has done it. The engineering enhancements and modifications that create the new M2 truly elevate this pistol into a class of its own,” he said.

The pistol is expected to hit retail stores in early 2016. Look for a SHOT Show preview of this gun being fired by American Rifleman editors at the 2016 SHOT Show later this month.
