Steyr Arms is introducing the AUG A3 with a cold-hammer-forged barrel.

Steyr Arms has announced that the AUG A3 will now feature a European-style cold-hammer-forged barrel along with a tulip-style muzzle brake.
With an overall length of 28.15 inches, sporting a 16-inch barrel, the AUG A3 is 8 inches shorter than an AR-15 carbine with a comparable-length barrel. It comes with stainless-steel operation and guide rods for smooth operation and reliability, with dual gas-adjustment setting for operating even with dirty ammunition.
It also comes with a 25-position Picatinny rail for numerous optic mounting options. The AUG A3 can be easily converted to left-hand operation, and features a quick-change barrel with a collapsible forward grip for the suggested retail price of $2,099.
