Have you ever thought how would you draw and fire from the ground? If not, you should. The first time you fire a gun while lying on your back should not be in a self-defense situation. As someone who prefers to carry a concealed handgun everywhere I go, I spend a lot of time researching the laws of the various states in which I travel. According to statistics, most self-defense situations follow the “Rules of Threes,” meaning the fight will happen at 3 yards with three shots fired and last about three seconds. But, a gunfight is not a statistic, which is why most experts recommend training for a drawn out fight.
