Ruger introduces the new-for-2013 SR45 Center-Fire Pistol. This gun has a .45 caliber 10-round magazine capacity. It comes in either a black over alloy steel or stainless steel slide. The SR45 also features an ambidextrous manual safety and mag catch, along with 3-dot sights that are adjustable for windage and elevation. The gun comes with a loaded chamber indicator, an interchangeable backstrap and a picatinny rail. The grip frame is black, high performance and made with glass-filled nylon. The SR45 has a barrel length of 4 1/2 inches, 8 inch length, and 5 3/4 inch height. The MSRP is $529.

MKS Supply showed off some of the latest releases from Chiappa Firearms and Hi-Point Carbines at the 142nd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits. In Chiappa's case, it was the M9-22 and the latest additions to the Rhino line (which, as you can see above, now comes in an exceptionally flashy gold model). For Hi-Point, it was the 9 mm carbine.

The KSG (Kel-Tec Shotgun) was Kel-Tec's first market introduction. There are many similarities between the KSG and the Forward-ejecting Bullpup (RFB) rifle, but the KSG ejects downward. This firearm weighs 6.9 lbs. and is extremely compact at length 26.1 inches and an 18.5-inch cylinder bore barrel. The magazines hold 12 rounds of 12-gauge 3-inch rounds. The KSG is a pump-action shotgun that feeds from both the left and right tube. Other features include a picatinny rail, forward and rear sling loops and a basic sling. The KSG also comes with a soft rubber butt pad to help reduce recoil. The KSG has an MSRP of $1,197.

Cold Steel showed NRA E-Media its latest prototype: the Code-4 Clip Point Knife. Designed to be easy to carry, the Code-4 line has a very low profile with a blade length of 3 1/2 inches, 3.5 mm thickness and overall length of 8 1/2 inches. The blades are made with Japanese Aus 8A stainless steel and come with an ambidextrous stainless pocket/belt clip.
