To celebrate 50 years of service, the NRA’s Law Enforcement Division is issuing 50 special Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers for sale through select Friends of the NRA Banquets. The custom Model 10 revolvers are chambered in .38 Spl. +P and feature original design wood grips, a blued carbon steel frame, 4-inch barrel and fixed sights. Each revolver features 24-karat gold engraving on the cylinder, barrel and sequential serial numbers, and comes with a matching number NRA Law Enforcement Commemorative badge made by Smith & Warren. “The NRA's Law Enforcement Division has been proudly serving the law enforcement officers of America for 50 years,” said Glen Hoyer, director of the Law Enforcement Division. “The Smith & Wesson revolver was the choice of law enforcement officers in 1960, whether it was for self-defense or competition, and is still serving today. It was the obvious choice as a commemorative firearm to showcase NRA Law Enforcement Division birth in 1960 and our 50 years of service.” The NRA Law Enforcement Division was officially created in 1960, and since then has trained more than 50,000 law enforcement instructors and conducts thousands of police competitions across the country every year. Find this limited-edition NRA Law Enforcement Division Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver at a Friends of the NRA banquet near you.
