Alliant Techsystems (ATK), parent company of Federal, CCI, and Black Cloud Ammunition, as well as Speer Ammunition and Speer Bullets, acquired tactical accessory manufacturer Blackhawk! Products on undisclosed terms. This latest acquisition continues ATK’s expansion into the security products market, begun with its 2009 purchase of Eagle Industries. Blackhawk! Products was started in 1993 by former Navy SEAL Mike Noell, and has since grown to operate in four states, providing law enforcement, military and private security contractors with tactical gear, vests, and holsters. ATK is a global defense company with more than 18,000 employees and revenues of more than $4.8 billion. “Blackhawk! is proud to join forces with ATK,” said Blackhawk!
