Not so many years ago, ceramic knives were typically available only in fixed-blade configurations. Now the discriminating knife user who prefers to take advantage of ceramic’s ability to cut more with fewer sharpenings can have it in a folder.
Among many other fixed and folding models, Stone River Gear offers its SRG2GLW, a liner-lock folder with particularly graceful lines that features a 3¼" white zirconium oxide blade, a textured G10 composite handle and a pocket clip. The company claims its ceramic blades retain their super-sharp edge “many times longer than conventional steel knives.” NRA-exclusive versions are available through The NRA Store.
