5/25/2010 A resident of Westfield, Ill., Tony Hawkins won the Single Stack title at the U.S. Practical Shooting Association's 2010 Area 4 Handgun Championship. The match, sponsored by STI International, drew 230 top shooters from all over the country. Hawkins won six of the twelve stages in the match, and finished first by more than 45 points. The next regional championship is Canyon Creek Area 5 Championship, scheduled for June 10-13 at the Tri County Gun Club in Polo, Ill. For more information, go to uspsa.org.
