The History Channel's newest reality show, "Top Shot," uses marksmanship and shooting discipline to determine the winner of its $100,000 grand prize package. The 16 contestants reenact famous historical shots, such as William Tell's legendary arrow-through-the-apple or Annie Oakley's use of a mirror and rifle, in order to win the title of "Top Shot." The first episode of this reality show, shooting competition hybrid aired on the History Channel Sunday night. The show is creating a lot of buzz in the shooting world, and it's our guess that it will continue to do so.
If you missed the first episode, it is available on Hulu.com.
