6/21/2010 Simmons' first-ever rangefinder, the LRF 400, operates at ranges from five to 800 yards on reflective targets. Maximum range is about 400 yards for most other objects. The button-activated digital LCD in the 4X-magnification lens displays distance, a battery charge indicator and a "target acquired" message.
