6/24/10 Advanced Technology International (ATI) has introduced a lightweight and sturdy mounting platform for the most popular types of shotguns in the form of the Talon 5-sided fore-end. The Talon weights only 6.8 ounces and is equipped with ATI's 2-inch Dovetail rails, spaced at 45-degree increments around the fore-end. Rails can be positioned anywhere along the length of the fore-end and are coated with Loctite to provide a secure grip. The fore-end also features a built in heatshield to prevent users from accidentally touching a hot gun barrel. The fore-end comes with a kit to that allows it to be fit onto:
