I have the sig sauer 522 with the regular hand guard. This is by far my #1 doomsday weapon. Reliable like an AK and still plinks accurately. I have a Nikon efr target .22 scope, burris pepr mount, and hammerhead break to make it more quiet on the business end of the gun to conceal my position. Feeds amazing and never jams. I polished my feed ramp for even better reliability. I recommend this to anyone

I purchased this and had all stock parts. I added a Promag 30 round mag. BSA 9-16x44mm scope. This rifle held 1 inch groups at 100 yards with my old pellet gun scope. Excited to try the new scope. Over 1000 rounds with no failures. Highly recommend blazer cci 40 grain ammo. 20 bucks at Big5 :-)

I've just purchased the Classic Combo, which comes with both the 16.6" and 20" barrel, and this is the most fun I've had with a rifle in a long time. I removed the Swiss style handguard for a quad rail, which allows use of a vertical grip and bipod adapter, as well as a set of BUIS. A tactical laser and flashlight may join later on. A Burris HoloSight rounds out the package, and as the article stated, this isn't a tack driver with a red dot, but at 50 yards I had no problem keeping all my rounds on a six inch target. A Burris P.E.R.P. is sitting on my desk, waiting for a Millett scope to arrive, and I expect to be able to reach out to 200 yards with this rifle without issue. Best buy for the money, in my opinion, if you're looking for a TactiCool Rimfire.

I own the Sig522LR and it is an amazing rifle. Although the .22 is a small round, the low recoil makes it a viable option for home defense (with mini-mag HP) for my wife who has trouble hoisting most guns. The accuracy is incredible and with a reflex red dot sight you can easily switch between targets and adjust aim on the go. This is a great review and very accurate all around. I HIGHLY recommend this gun.

While the plr 16 may be less expensive, it is by no means more reliable. Many who own multiple of the "tactical 22's" agree that the sig is by far the most consistant of the group, firing thousands of rounds with no failures whatsoever.

I have read the information about the PLR-16. according to me it is more reliable, affordable. Because of its light weight it is easy to use. Thanks.
