President of Bushmaster to Retire

President John DeSantis will retire from the company at the end of July to spend more time with his family.

After a 40-year career in business and manufacturing, John DeSantis, President of Bushmaster Firearms, has announced that he will be retiring to pursue other interests and spend more time with his family.

DeSantis became President and General Manager of Bushmaster in November of 2008, after resigning from his position with Remington, another subsidiary of The Freedom Group.

DeSantis will step down on July 31, but continue to work with the company in a consulting role. No successor has been named.
