8/3/2010 Remington and Marlin, both subsidiaries of The Freedom Group, are offering charitable firearms rebate programs with select purchases from August 1 - December 31, 2010. When receiving these rebates, buyers can choose to donate either part or all of their rebate to the Coastal Conservation Association, a non-profit group dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of coastal resources. The rebate program is currently offered with purchases of new Remington Model 870 Express shotguns, Model 11-87 autloading shotguns, and Model 700 rifles. It also applies to Marlin Model 22 autoloading rifle and Marlin 336 lever-action rifles.
