Smith & Wesson is the latest firearms manufacturer to partner with professional hunter Michael Waddell's Bone Collector line of products to produce the S&W500 Bone Collector, based on Smith & Wesson's massive .500 S&W Mag.-calibered revolver.

Designed for handgun hunting, the S&W500 Bone Collector features a 10.5-inch barrel, synthetic rubber grips, and a full 360-degree muzzle compensator. The gun is also hand-finished by Smith & Wesson's Performance Center and comes with a weaver base to mount an optic and a swivel bolt sling mount to attach a sling. The S&W500 Bone Collector Edition is limited to a 1,000 unit run.

I'll tell you what...The first time I shot my 460 custom handgun it was apparent that this platform is truly top notch in every detail. The trigger is smooth, the muzzle brake is phenomenal. I have shot this weapon a few times without ear protection and it is no big deal. I can't do that with my Raging Bull! I scoped this bad boy with a Burris 4 plex EER which is VERY clear and crisp and it just keeps reaching out there at the gun club further and further. Do I want another S&W Custom big bore? You bet I do !
