9/8/2010 Caldwell has incorporated its fire control system into its latest recoil-absorbing Lead Sled to offer up a package that offers precision adjustment for benchrest shooters. The Lead Sled Fire Control Extreme (FCX) absorbs recoil by transfering energy from the firearm to its frame system and into a series of weights at the bottom of the tray. In addition to absorbing felt recoil, the Lead SLed FCX also features an actuated joystick mechanism capable of rotating 360-degrees that holds its position when released. The combination of these two features help eliminate flinch and give benchrest shooters a higher degree of accuracy while testing or sighting in their rifles. The MSRP for the Lead Sled FCX is $399.99. For additional information, visit Caldwell's Lead Sled FCX product page.
