Great home defense & WROL weapon system. Fully ambidextrous, an inexpensive common-caliber my wife & daughters can (& will) shoot. It'll go where we go.

I own a Beretta Cx4 carbine and a Beretta model 96D Centurion handgun, both in .40 S&W. I bought the Cx4 because it fired the same ammo and could use the same magazines. I've never experienced a feed fault with either weapon. 100 yd. hits on six-inch steel targets never miss with the Storm. They make a great combo; home defense, plinking, small game - I carry them both whenever I am out in my woods. They would be the last guns I ever give up.

A third party has come up with a 15 or 16 round capacity magazine using an extension for the CX4 in .45 ACP. Take a look at Sierra Papa: http://sierrapapacx4.com/CX4_mag_extension_index.htm

It was mentioned that the magazines do not interchange between the two guns, which is incorrect. There is an insert on the cx4 that can be taken out so you can use your PX4 magazines, the insert I believe was used with the older Cougar style Mags. I wish the same thing that Beretta would make a hi Cap Mag, shooting 10 rounds max is sad, if they can make extenders for Glocks and the other, why not Beretta?
