10/1/2010 Buck Knives, Inc., released six Jim Shockey signature knives and now offers them exclusively through Cabela’s. Each blade is made of Sandvik 12C27M stainless steel and is coated with black oxide for corrosion resistance. The four lockback knives have polymer handles with blade lengths measuring from 2¾ to 3 inches. Each comes with a diamond-coated sharpener and a nylon sheath with snap-button releases. The Fannin 160 caper knife has a 17⁄8-inch blade attached to a 3-inch, two-tone 550 cord in a monkey knot. An injection-molded nylon sheath features a quick-release attachment. The Tsiu 475 (not pictured) has a full-tang, fixed-blade knife with a 3½-inch drop-point blade and black Dymondwood handle with texturing, and it comes with a diamond-coated sharpener and a nylon sheath.
