After the success of the first season and having just closed filming of the second, the History Channel has announced an open casting call for Top Shot 3.

1/7/2011

The History Channel has announced an open casting call for shooters of all ages and disciplines to compete for the title of Top Shot 3. Whereas competitors on previous seasons were single shooters of varying backgrounds divided up into teams, Top Shot's third season offers a chance for marksmen pairs of husband/wife, father/son, co-workers or siblings to enter for a chance to win the title.

Given the success of the first Top Shot and its winner Iain Harrison, and the anticipation for the second season, it doesn't come as a surprise that the network is working quickly to produce a third season.

For more details on how to become a contenstant for the third season of Top Shot, please visit the History Channel's website. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2011.

Season 2. George should have been vetted a little better. He reminds me of this young sniper that's spotter actually asked to go back to a line unit because he culdn't stand spending so much time with the ego maniac. One guy suggested weaving aluminium foil into his camo head veil. he needs a little more maturity. Maybe his buddies wanted rid of him for a few weeks. One of his weak points is his mouth. Then again about the same character won the first season.
