I own many shotguns. When i moved to semi auto been using the SX3 12 gauge. Started getting pretty good so went to sSX3 20 gauge. Thought lets make it a little tougher and bought the legacy 28 gauge. My first 3 shots on chuckers went 3 shots for 3 birds. What a gun. I have been shooting pheasant also and most shots are 1 shot 1 kill The ammo I have been using golden pheasant 7/8th oz. 6 shot. I may never shoot a 12 again (well for upland birds) Well worth the 1699.00 I paid. I am 6'3 and nearly 300 lbs gun feels like a bb gun. Can carry it all day.

I love my 28g Legacy and use it now exclusively for all shooting sports and small game hunting. I have it's big brother, the super black eagle ll lefty, which I only use for deer hunting now. I heard they have released the lefty 28g Legacy although my local dealer said they have not. What's the real story?

I luv it.. My sholders are getting to the point a 12 gauge is just to heavy and to sore to fire 100 rounds on a sporting clay field. I have a nice Beretta 20 gauge 626 over and under but I am looking forward to using the Legacy 28. Pricewas a little stiff, but I traded in two guns at a profit to help reduce that pinch. p.s isn't 7/8 ounce of #8 shot at 1300 fps out of 12 gauge the same as 7/8 ounce of #8 at 1300 fps shot from either gun the same???

I find the 28 gauge defies the laws of physics. It is small but deadly. It is also a "gentleman's gun", and I think Benelli was smart to offer the gun in "regular" Ultralight and fancy Legacy.

I bought this gun just for dove hunting and wow. I also use this gun hunting pheasants and it is just as effective as my silver pidgeon. Buying a premium shotgun for under two grand was such a treat. Well worth the money!

I would agree that this gun is what a 28 gauge should be, but at almost $2,000.00- NO WAY
