Have a Govt. 380 and two Mustang Pocketlite 380s. Tried a PPK but not nearly as good as the Colts. Fits in my front pants pocket and is always handy. Wouldn't carry anything else.

This Colt Pocketlite .380 when compared to the Sig Sauer P238 HD does not match up. The Colt is SS/Aluminum whereas the Sig HD is all stainless. The Sig Nitesights are far superior and the price of the Colt is about $200 more. Both pistols have a lame polymer trigger, easily remedied by purchase of a aftermarket stainless steel trigger. The Sig Sauer 3rd Generation magazines are far btter as well. They will probably work in the Colt.

@Kill'r B -- You can't plan the distances of your next gun fight. Sure, there are lots of defensive situations at 3 yards, but that doesn't mean YOUR next gunfight will be at that distance. As a firearms instructor, I practice at 3 yards, 7 yards, 25 yards and 50 yards with my pistol. This little Mustang seems ready for the job. I can't wait to get one.

25 yards? How many people protect themselves by shooting at a target 25 yards away? Most are less than 10 feet (3 yards)That's where ya need to practice, 10 feet.

I have 2 of the originals, and want to sell one. Anyone have a guess as to what it might be worth? I would put it at about 80%

I got a new Colt pocketlite for Christmas and it is one sweet little gun. One negative, is my wife wants to carry it as her CCW after she gave it to me.

Naw, why would Sig have to make a Colt? It looks every bit a Colt to me, like the Govt Model 380 I almost regret selling for 4 times what I bought it for.
