2/1/2012 Bushnell Outdoor Products has announced that its total 2011 contribution to the Folds of Honor Foundation will total $200,000. Providing post-secondary educational scholarships to spouses and children of service members who are disabled or killed during U.S. military service since 2007, Folds of Honor is led by Iraq War veteran Major Dan "Noonan" Rooney. Rooney was on hand at the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Pittsburgh to garner support for the organization, and while there he presented NRA Publications Executive Director Joe Graham with an A2 flight jacket as thanks for advocating the Folds of Honor. Bushnell has already pledged to continue its product partnership with Folds of Honor into 2012—two golf laser rangefinders will have part of their proceeds contributed directly to the organization.
