Charter Arms Pitbull 9 mm Rimless Revolver

Charter Arms has introduced Pitbull 9 mm revolver that works without moon clips to compliment its .40 S&W Pitbull.

9/21/2012

Building on the success of its .40 S&W-chambered Pitbull Rimless Revolver, Charter Arms has adapted the six-shot wheelgun for the 9 mm Luger cartridge.

The Rimless Revolver uses a patented dual- coil-spring assembly, located in the extractor, to allow insertion and retention of rimless cartridges—a practice often requiring the use of moon clips to create a faux rim for proper headspacing. Price: $465.

Now for a 3", 4", and if they are successful maybe even a 5" version :D I have a .40S&W and am thinking of going down in power to a 9mm. I think I could shoot faster with a 9mm. Imagine the Pitbull with some of them nasty Speer Gold Dots! You can shoot whatever in that revolver--ball, hp, swc, and you don't have to worry about jams. Unlike an auto... Though, if I put a rubber grip on my .40 it is much more controllable. I think it was a Hogue Handall that I used. I tames it
