Summary: The Civil War is considered the bloodiest conflict in United States’ history, largely attributed to the exceptional accuracy of the sharpshooters of the day. Maj. John Plaster U.S. Army (Ret.), author of “The History of Sniping & Sharpshooting,” will discuss the sharpshooters and their arms at an American Rifleman Special Session during the NRA Annual Meetings at Houston, Texas in May.
