Jim,
Did you mean you added 3 #6 SAE flat washers to each pylon?

I just mounted the special picatinny rail available from ATI and put a red-green dot scope on it. This enables me to switch between having the StG's original look and an upgraded one.

Historically interesting to own and fun to shoot, I'm very pleased it's a .22. The 25-rd and 10-rd magazines are the same length, but the 10-rd can be shortened. My gunsmith cut below the spring in a 10-rd mag for me, moving the cap at the base of the mag up to close it off. Now it's easier to shoot by bench rest.

Purchased one of these a few weeks ago. Sure is a sweet shooter. Had a problem with it shooting low. Fixed it by rempoving the rear sight, spring and mount. Added 3 SAE #6 flat washers to the screw pylons and then reassembled the rear sight. Shoots so close that it's scarey. Looks great with my WW2 military collection
