Winchester Brings Back the 1873

Winchester Repeating Arms is reintroducing the Model 73 with all of the features that made it “The Gun that Won the West.”

Winchester Repeating Arms is bringing back the Winchester Model 73 rifle that was known as “The Gun that Won the West.”

The Model 73 features an oil-finished walnut stock, classic blued-steel crescent buttplate and a 20-inch barrel, just like the original.

Other features include a full-length magazine tube, semi-buckhorn rear sight with Marble Arms gold bead front sight, a steel loading gate and receiver rear tang that is drilled and tapped for a tang-mounted rear sight. 

The Model 1873 is offered in .357/38 Spl. for a suggested retail price of $1,299.99.

You might want to actually look at a 73 Old Tuff, it was designed for pistol calibers so the 45-70 is WAY out of its league. I agree with Mike, 44-40 or 45 Colt would be far better than the 357.
