Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand-Ejector from “Raiders of the Lost Ark”
The part where Indiana Jones shoots the sword-wielding assailant in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” could be one of the most casual and disdained gun scenes in movie lore. The swordsman, played by Terry Richards, makes a huge show of how skilled he is with a scimitar before Indiana Jones gives the bad guy a look that says, “Give me a break,” before dropping him in his tracks. This scene was supposed to be different, but Harrison Ford was ill and didn’t feel like filming a long scene, so he interestingly shortened it.
