Building a Red Dot Race Gun
(10 Photos)
The Glock pistol has become one of the most common pistols on the planet, and has reached a level of ubiquity in handguns previously achieved only by 1911s. It’s now possible to build a competition ready race gun for USPSA Open Division on a “Glock” platform from the ground up, using no Glock parts.

Start with a Frame
Start with a Timberwolf Frame from Lone Wolf Distributors. Available as a stripped or fully built frame, you can customize it by dropping in parts directly from your existing Glock 17/34 or 22/35. This gun is for the USPSA Steel Challenge Open division, so the frame is for a 9 mm model.
