Timney Drop-In AR-15 Competition Trigger

Many quality AR-15 rifles arrive from the factory ready to run, but with stiff "stock" triggers. This precision, fire-control group is manufactured in the United States by Timney, and does not require any gunsmithing to install. Replace the existing assembly with the Timney unit to enjoy a smooth, crisp, single-stage, 3-pound trigger pull. The components are fitted into a lightweight 6061, T6 aluminum alloy housing that's been anodized for increased durability. This trigger group works with small pin (.154-inch) receivers only.

On a DoubleStar CAR15, with an Eotech 512, Magpul B-Up sights, Surefire light and Viridian green laser mounted on a receiver height quad-rail forend, the only thing I needed was a decent trigger. Bought the Timney when it was on sale at Cheaper-Than-Dirt. Good thing they were on sale as I'm a really ham-handed fumble-finger, so I had to to take it to a local shop to be installed. WOW!!! The Timney trigger is awesome and really improved my groups! I also purchased a 3x12x44 UTG scope before the TImney, but have been unable to get to the outdoor range yet. Unfortunately, their 100yd range was swept away by a flood 2yrs ago, but they have yet to rebuild it. Can't wait to find a decent range and see what my new trigger can do at distance.
