The M1911 pistol was designed to work with hardball loads, but just a few fixes ensure that today’s M1911 functions flawlessly with self-defense loads.
I have a LLama IC 45 1911 type clone. The right side of slide at ejection is already lowered. But, I cannot bevel too close to the ejector, which on a LLama is pinned on the right side. If I remove too much metal in the beveling process, like what has been done to example 1911, I will grind into ejector. Any suggestiona???

it seems these simple
steps work, but the original 1911 will lose a lot of value!

Personally, I'd like to see all the 45 photos with before and after parts side by side with arrows pointing to the parts/areas that have been improved.

Keep in mind these modifications are for the mil-spec M1911 and M1911A1 handguns. The later models such as the Colt M1991A1 and others already have these modifications from the factory.
