Hollywood Guns

The NRA's National Firearms Museum is opening a new exhibit this year that will catch the eye of both gun enthusiasts and movie-goers. The “Hollywood Guns” exhibit will feature firearms used by actors in some of the most popular action movies. I recently had a chance to hang out with Assistant Curator Matt Sharpe and take a some photos of guns used in some my favorite movies.

Here’s a gun from one of my favorite movies of all time, Die Hard with Bruce Willis. This is the actual Beretta 92FS that he used. Another nice fact about this gun is that it was also used by Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon.


This HK94 was also used by Willis in Die Hard.

This is the BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle. Standard-issue blaster of the Imperial Stormtroopers in Star Wars.



This HK UMP 45 was used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 3.



This is the Winchester 1887 used by Nicholas Cage in Ghost Rider.



This is the Barrett M107 used in the award-winner movie The Hurt Locker.
