05/25/10 With its members having already racked up 15 state, 15 regional and seven national titles, Team Smith & Wesson is on par to break its record number of titles set in 2009. Buoyed by strong performances from shooter Julie Golob and counting on similar outings from veterans Doug Koenig and Jerry Miculek, the team only needs three more wins to surpass its previous score. With the Bianchi Cup coming this weekend and the International Revolver Championship (IRC) a week afterward, Team Smith & Wesson has a very good shot at breaking its own records—especially considering that team member Jerry Miculek has won IRC the last 16 consecutive years and Doug Koenig has won the Bianchi Cup 12 times.
