Nikon’s Online Trajectory Program

Spot On helps shooters dial in their rifles.

5/11/2010

Nikon’s all-new Spot On program allows users to select from one of the largest databases of factory ammunition and reloading components ever assembled to build a plan for dialing in their rifles.

“Not all shooters have access to a 400-yard range or the time to figure out with trial and error exactly what their bullet is doing at every range,” said Jon LaCorte, senior product marketing manager Nikon Sport Optics. “Spot On allows users to match their load of choice to any Nikon riflescope, with any reticle, and see what the possibilities are before they ever pull the trigger.”

Available options include sight-in information to match the user’s goals, ballistic reports for the bullet and load, printable reports with trajectory, field references and ballistic graphs, a video tutorial and more. Not designed to replace actual range time, Nikon’s Spot On program nonetheless allows shooters to decide from thousands of load and sight-in options for specific hunts or shooting styles and is a free tool for all shooters.

Comments...This seems to be a very easy program to use. I wish ther was a way we could download all the weather info from our weather program directly to Spot On. Quicker & More Accurate. Also, Is this available for download as an app for ones Android Mobile Phone? Sure would be nice to have Spot On out in the field. Thank you, Jorge L.
